Village chief faces raps for poll gun ban violation

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – Police have launched a manhunt for a barangay chairman in Aparri, Cagayan for violating the election gun ban.

An M16 rifle and a shotgun were recovered from a well in the backyard of Cynold Pigao when police raided his residence in Barangay Paruddun Sur on Tuesday, said Chief Inspector Rafael Pagaliluan, Aparri police chief.
