The Christmas bus service first operated on December 5.

Reports said it rolled out empty and had difficulty getting more passengers due to its fare.

On December 8, LTFRB Chair Winston Ginez announced the fare rate drop that helped in enticing passengers to give the Christmas bus service a try.

There are 20 Christmas premium point-to-point buses are situated in selected malls to provide commuters reliable service during the anticipated holiday traffic.

It encourages private car users to take public transport to lessen the traffic congestion.
