Magnitude 3.5 quake rocks Davao Occidental

MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) on Saturday morning reported a magnitude 3.5 earthquake that jolted Davao Occidental.

The tremor occurred at 11:31 a.m. with its epicenter traced at 96 kilometers north east of Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental.

Phivolcs said no damage or casualty had been reported.

Its depth of focus was 62 kilometers.

No aftershock was expected from the quake, which was tectonic in origin.
