SOUTH COTABATO, Philippines – A former municipal assessor of Banga town here, who is wanted for falsifying documents, was arrested on Tuesday.
Nerissa Rubino’s arrest was based on the warrant issued by Judge Roberto Ayco of the Regional Trial Court Branch 26 in Surallah town.
Rubino was collared in his hideout in a remote barangay.
Police Officer 2 Rodson Ramos, community relations officer of Banga police, said Rubino is facing graft charges before a local court.
