Noy names 7 new judges

MANILA, Philippines – President Aquino has appointed seven new judges in five provinces in Luzon.

In transmittal letters received by the Supreme Court (SC) early this week, Aquino named the regional trial court (RTC), municipal trial court (MTC) and municipal circuit trial court (MCTC) judges of Mt. Province, Ilocos, Camarines Sur, Masbate and Camarines Norte.

Kode Garlejo Daoas was appointed to the MTC of Tadian, Mt. Province and Vida Advento Cortez-Jimeno to the 12th MCTC in Tagudin-Sayo, Ilocos Sur.

In the Bicol region, Maria Clarissa Lianko Pacis-Trinidad was appointed to the Camarines Sur RTC Branch 36 in Iriga; Soliman Santos Jr., Camarines Sur RTC Branch 61 in Naga; Jonel Martinez-Ursua, Camarines Norte MTC in Jose Panganiban; Dara San Juan Mallorca-Torres, Camarines Norte MTC in Paracale; and Teofilo Tambago, Masbate City RTC Branch 46.

The Judicial and Bar Council screened the appointees.
