ILOILO CITY, Philippines – A son of a municipal vice mayor was arrested in a drug sting in Concepcion, Iloilo yesterday morning.
Sibulon Pike Salcedo, 46, yielded two plastic sachets said to contain shabu and drug paraphernalia, according to Chief Inspector Jonathan Pinuela, town police chief.
Salcedo, son of Concepcion Vice Mayor Elizabeth Salcedo, was in the police’s watch list for illegal drug personalities, Pinuela said, adding the suspect owned up to the charges.
“He was remorseful and asking for forgiveness,” he said.
