Woman found dead in Laguna

LAGUNA, Philippines – A woman was found dead with several stab wounds in Biñan City in this province yesterday morning.

Police described the woman to be at least 50 years old, 5’2” tall and wearing a pair of checkered shorts and a blue sleeveless shirt.

Police believe the victim, who was found at around 6:45 a.m. at a grassy area in Barangay Francisco, was killed somewhere else and dumped in the area to mislead investigators.

It was the third body to be found in the province within the week.

On Monday, a man and a woman were found beheaded in separate areas in Calamba City.

The man’s fingers and the woman’s arms were chopped off. Police have yet to identify the two headless victims.
