Ric Sapnu, - The Philippine Star

SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Philippines – At least 754 marginalized workers in Aurora province have been provided emergency employment assistance by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) regional office.

The P3-million emergency employment assistance was sourced from the agency’s Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers program, according to DOLE-Central Luzon director Ana Dione.

Among the beneficiaries are victims of recent calamities, particularly Typhoon Lando, which hit the province in October.

Dione said the beneficiaries are from the typhoon-hit towns of Baler, Maria Aurora, San Luis, Dipaculao, Dilasag, Casiguran, Dinalungan and Dingalan.
