TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – An official of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in the Cordilleras was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Barangay Dangoy in Lubuagan, Kalinga on Monday night.
Damian Canao Jr., project engineer of the DPWH in Tabuk City, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died on the way to the Kalinga District Hospital, said? Kalinga police spokesman Chief Inspector Jomarick Felina.
