2 dead, 2 hurt in Iloilo road mishap

 ILOILO CITY, Philippines – Two persons were killed and two others injured in a collision involving three motorcycles in Barangay Amamaros in Pototan, Iloilo Thursday night.

Rezan Lagaña of Barangay Licuan in Dingle town and Wilfredo Baron of Barangay Tuburan in Pototan died at the scene.

Alexis Gumban and his companion Devon Ray Villamor were injured.

Senior Inspector Ariel Corcino, Pototan police chief, said the accident occurred when Baron tried to overtake a sport utility vehicle.  Lagaña, who was on a motorcycle on the opposite lane, overtook the motorcycle driven by Gumban.
