Fugitive shoots 2 in Laguna

LAGUNA, Philippines – A man and his niece were wounded when a fugitive shot them at a mall in Sta. Cruz town in this province on Sunday night.

Jimboy Alivio, 36, and Danemestin Domini, 4, were about to board their car when they were allegedly shot by Jun Maluto.

Maluto, said to be a fugitive from the Laguna Provincial Jail,  was identified by the victims’ relatives from the rogue’s gallery of the town police.

The victims and  their relatives were at the parking area of a mall when they were shot.

Maluto escaped after the incident. Police have yet to determine the motive for the attack.
