Drug suspect’s pa killed in Bulacan raid

MANILA, Philippines - The father of a suspected drug trafficker was killed in a raid that also resulted in the arrest of the suspect and his companion in Meycauayan, Bulacan over the weekend.

Conrado Porciuncula reportedly shot at the raiding team who arrived at the house of his son on Kadena de Amor street in Barangay Saluysoy.

The officers fired back, killing Porciuncula instantly, according to Bulacan police director Senior Superintendent Ferdinand Divina.

Police arrested Porciuncula’s son, Christian Michael, 39, and his companion Atilano Ayson, 42.

The raid came after a sting conducted at Christian  Michael’s house last month turned out positive, town police chief Superintendent Nestor Cusi said.
