10 arrested in North Cotabato drug sting

NORTH COTABATO, Philippines – Ten suspected drug traffickers, including a 10-year-old boy, were arrested in a sting in Matalam town here.

Senior Superintendent Alexander Tagum, North Cotabato police director, identified eight of the suspects as Yusoph Sagidpa, 37; Rodin Kamsa, 21; Tidz Zalpin, 25; Datoto Salipada, 44; Bonifacio Bayug, 42; Hofer Pasagui, 29; Karex Malik Ontong, 49, and Henry Pendatun, 31.

The minor was turned over to the provincial office of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

Tagum said several sachets of suspected shabu were seized from the suspects.
