Man nabbed for rape
BALANGA CITY, Bataan , Philippines – A 54-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping an eight-year-old girl in Dinalupihan town in this province yesterday.
Ricardo Gabriel was collared for allegedly raping the victim in a sari-sari store in Barangay San Pablo, according to provincial police spokesperson Inspector Jenny Cruz.
Reports said a certain Ma. Francis Estanislao appeared before the municipal police to report the incident.
Police said the suspect reportedly asked the girl and her brother to go with him to the village hall.
The girl’s brother went home ahead, leaving his sister in the company of the suspect.
The boy’s other sister and their relatives went out to look for the girl after he told her that their sister was with the suspect.
They found the suspect and the girl crying. The victim told them the suspect put his finger in her vagina.
