The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – The city government of Bacoor in Cavite recently launched its Negosyo Center, the largest in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) and the first in the province, at the new government center on Bacoor Boulevard.

The center is a “one-stop shop” for the processing of documents needed by entrepreneurs in setting up business establishments in the area.

The event was attended by Mayor Strike Revilla, Rep. Lani Mercado-Revilla, Vice Mayor Karen Sarino-Evaristo, city livelihood office chief Carmelita Gawaran, Department of Trade and Industry regional director Marilou Quinco-Toledo, DTI provincial director Noly Guevarra, Philippine Center for Entrepreneurs  executive director Ramon Lopez and  guest of honor Sen. Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV.

Aquino worked for the passage of the Go Negosyo Act, which mandates DTI to establish Negosyo Centers all over the country. Bacoor’s Negosyo Center is 103rd, surpassing the initial target of 100.
