MANILA, Philippines - Fifteen brand new ambulances were turned over recently to the provincial governments of Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga del Sur and Zamboanga del Norte, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said.

PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II and board members Mabel Mamba and Francisco Joaquin III led the turnover ceremony in Dipolog City on Sept. 28.

They distributed checks representing the shares of the local governments in the lotto sales.

Rojas said among the towns that received the ambulances were Kabasalan  in Zamboanga Sibugay; Rizal, Sirawai, Godod, Tampilisan, Polanco, Liloy, Baliguian, Katipunan, President Manuel Roxas and Sergio Osmeña Sr., all  in Zamboanga del Norte, and the cities of Dapitan and Dipolog as well as the Labason District Hospital, and Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Health Office.

“PCSO will donate more ambulances and open more branches until the end of the year,” Rojas said.
