5 new Central Luzon judges named

MANILA, Philippines - President Aquino has appointed five new judges in Nueva Ecija, Pampanga and Bataan.

In recent transmittal letters received by the Supreme Court (SC), the President named Erriza Dawn Bucu Narciso to the Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC), Branch 2 of Cabanatuan City and Ann Eillenne Silva Morales-Java to the  Municipal Trial Court (MTC) of Jaen.

Joven Diaz Dellosa was named to the MTCC Branch 2 in San Fernando, Wendell Ramiterre (MTC of Floridablanca) and Maricar Paloma dela Cruz-Buban (3rd MCTC of Orion-Pilar).                      

 The new judges were screened by the seven-member Judicial and Bar Council.

Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno chairs the JBC with Sen. Aquilino Pimentel III, Iloilo Rep. Niel Tupas and Justice Secretary Leila de Lima as ex-officio members.

The other JBC members are retired SC justice Angelina Sandoval-Gutierrez, head of the executive committee and representative of the retired SC justices; lawyer Jose Mejia (academe), retired Court of Appeals justice Aurora Santiago-Lagman (private sector) and Milagros Fernan-Cayosa (Integrated Bar of the Philippines).
