ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines – The counter-terror unit of the military here has a new commander.
Col. Arthur Biyu took over the reins of Task Group Zamboanga from Col. Andrelino Colina in simple ceremonies presided by Commodore Premitivo Gopo, chief of the naval forces in Western Mindanao, on Wednesday.
Colina led the operations against 400 Moro National Liberation Front members who stormed the city in September 2013. He was also instrumental in the campaign against kidnapping, rice smuggling and bombings here.
