Death toll in Marikina road mishap rises to 3

MANILA, Philippines - The death toll due to the vehicular accident in Marikina City has risen to three as one of the injured victims died.
 
Antonio Montenegro Jr., a passenger jeepney barker, died Thursday night while confined at the Amang Rodriguez Medical Center, police said. 
 
On Wednesday, a wayward delivery truck lost its brakes while descending a steep flyover on A. Bonifacio Avenue, Barangay Barangka, Marikina, ramming four vehicles, including a passenger  jeepney.
 
College student Edizon John Reyes of Technological Institute of the Philippines and Domingo Salvador Jr. died instantly from severe injuries in the accident.  
 
More than 10 persons were also hurt in the crash. 
 
Police has sued Fernando Gimera, driver of the 10-wheeler truck, for the road mishap.
