Lawyer attacked by teen

DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines  – A 78-year-old lawyer was rushed to the hospital after a 14-year-old boy hit him on the head with a stone in Barangay Bonuan Binloc Friday, police said. 

Juan Siapno reportedly admonished the unidentified teen, described as having mental health problems, for picking fruits inside the Siapno compound. Angered, the teen picked up a stone and hit the lawyer’s head several times before fleeing.

Dagupan police chief Christopher Abrahano said a caretaker later found Siapno bloodied and unconscious. He was rushed to the Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital for treatment.
