MANILA, Philippines - Operatives of the Philippines Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested a 34-year-old driver after he yielded methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, with an estimated street value of P250,000, during a raid on his house in Camarines Norte.

PDEA director general Arturo Cacdac Jr. identified the suspect as Aries Carillo.

During the operation, anti-narcotics agents and policemen seized from Carillo a plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 50 grams worth P250,000 and an improvised tooter.

Reports showed that last August 6, authorities, armed with a search warrant issued by Judge Arniel Dating of the Regional Trial Court Branch 40, Daet, Camarines Norte, raided Carillo's house in Barangay Poblacion, Basud, Camarines Norte around 7:30 a.m.

Carillo is now facing illegal drugs raps before the court.
