Kin of slain Masculados Dos member appeals to PNoy

MANILA, Philippines — Bereaved family of the a slain member of Masculados Dos appealed to President Benigno Aquino III and the governement to obtain justice for the dancer.

Teresita Ong, mother of Marcelo "Ozu" Ong II., asked Aquino's intervention to intensify the search and prosecution of her son's killer.

"Humihingi po ako ng tulong para po mabigyang hustisya ang anak ko. 'Dun po sa taong gumawa niyan, sana po mapagliwanag ang isip na hindi naman po pupuwedeng ganun na lang," Teresita said in a televised interview with ABS-CBN.

Ozu's sister, Mary Anne Ong, also angrily went to the National Bureau of Investigation on Monday to ask for help since the witnesses of the shooting have not yet come out.

"Humihingi ako ng tulong sa lahat, parang awa niyo na. Hindi ako matatahimik hangga't hindi nahaharap sa akin 'yan (killer)," Maan said.

Ozu, 30, was shot dead in what was believed to be a carjacking incident in Angono, Rizal early morning of Sunday.

The dancer was driving a Toyota Hi-Lux truck with plate number AAO 2722 when he pulled over at Primerose Subdivision, Barangay Parang, Angono Rizal and was then approached by a man who shot him.

Reports said there are no leads yet to the suspect and the motive for the crime. However, the Provincial Director of Angono, Rizal already ordered the police to conduct further investigation to hasten the resolution of the case.

Recent development of Ozu's case revealed that the suspect appears to be familiar with Ozu since the CCTV footage showed that the victim and the killer talked minutes before the shooting.

According to the security office of Primrose Subdivision, the footage also showed that the suspect is familiar with the route of the subdivision since the vehicle was seen taking a U-turn inside.

A security officer from the subdivision claimed that a witness saw Ozu and the suspect arguing before he pulled the gun.

Dennis Ong, the victim's brother, however said that his brother had no known enemies who may have motive for his killing.
