Jeepney falls off ravine; 2 dead

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – Two persons died and two others were injured when their jeepney plunged into a 100-meter ravine in Sitio Impugong, Barangay Baculongan Sur in Buguias, Benguet Thursday night.

Jay-ar Riquardo, a resident of Tabuk City in Kalinga province, and Mariano Dominguez of Barangay Loo in Buguias died at the scene, a report to Buguias police chief Chief Inspector Fernandi Botangen showed.

Merna Bayas and Jay-ar Bogao, 23, were brought to the Lutheran Hospital for treatment, said Chief Inspector Joyce Dayag, Benguet police spokesman. – Raymund Catindig, Artemio Dumlao
