MANILA, Philippines - Around 30 people were hurt Tuesday night after a wayward passenger bus rammed a post along Edsa in Quezon City.
Reports said that bus, with a Pacita-Fairview route, was speeding along Edsa around 9 p.m. when it suddenly slammed a post at the corner of Santolan flyover.
The windshield and the front part of the bus were damaged due to the impact, reports said.
Bus driver Dennis Carillanes, 26, claimed that he was forced out of the road when another vehicle cut his path.
However, some of the injured passengers said that Carillanes was driving recklessly, causing the bus to hit the post.
