5 hurt in Pangasinan stabbings

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Philippines – Five persons were injured in separate stabbing incidents in Pangasinan Monday.

Farmer Levy Clave, 56, was rushed to the Sampaloc Community Hospital in Bolinao after he was allegedly stabbed by Amadito Orlanda in Barangay Tori-Tori, Anda town over an old grudge.

Fernando Pascual, 53, suffered stab wounds in the chest, lips and nose after he was attacked with a bladed weapon by Ricardo Villanueva, 49, in Barangay Carmen, Rosales town.

In Villasis, Clifford and Jesus, both surnamed Dela Cruz, were taken to the Ordoñez Medical Hospital after they were allegedly stabbed by Juanito Agno, 49, over a quarrel in Barangay Puelay.

Meanwhile, overseas worker Archie Cervas, 30, suffered a stab wound during a brawl in Barangay Nilombot in Mapandan town. He was rushed to the Mapandan Community Hospital for treatment.
