CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – At least 20 marijuana plants were uprooted in Lemery, Batangas on Wednesday, police said.
Florencio Balbacal was arrested after being caught cultivating the plants during a raid in Sitio Amitan, Barangay Masayang around 11 a.m., Chief Inspector Gerry Laylo, Lemery police chief, said.
Balbacal was tagged as the supplier of marijuana in the third and fourth districts of Batangas, Laylo told The STAR.
Charges of illegal possession of dangerous drugs were filed against Balbacal.
