Poll executive dies in Isabela road mishap

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – An official of the Commission on Elections died in a road accident along the highway in Barangay San Fabian in Echague, Isabela on Tuesday, police said yesterday.

Agusto Cammayo Jr., elections officer of San Agustin town, was thrown off his motorcycle when he hit a pile of gravel at past 1 a.m., Police Officer 4 Marcos Binoya said.

Cammayo was pronounced dead on arrival at the Adventist Hospital in Santiago City.
