Man shot dead at home

SAN FABIAN, Pangasinan, Philippines  – A retired security guard was shot dead at his home in Barangay Tempra-Guilig here Sunday.

Jose Tomanan, 72, was in the kitchen drinking coffee when he was shot at around 3:50 a.m.

Tomanan’s wife Rosalinda, a retired teacher, said he heard her husband shouting for help and saw him bloodied on the floor.

The victim died while being treated at the Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital.

Police arrested in a follow up operation Edward Generao and Michael Soriano.

Probers are eyeing robbery as the motive for the shooting.
