MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude-3.9 earthquake rattled parts of Batanes yesterday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake, which occurred at 7:11 a.m., was located 41 kilometers southeast of Uyugan town.
It was felt at Intensity 4 in Basco, Mahatao, Ivana and Uyugan, all in Batanes.
Phivolcs said no aftershock was expected from the quake.
