Man yields P450K worth of shabu in Davao ops

MANILA, Philippines - Authorities nabbed a suspected drug pusher who yielded an estimated P450,000 worth of shabu during a sting operation in Davao City, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said on Friday.
PDEA director general Arturo Cacdac Jr. said Rodrigo Gan Dacar Jr., 30, was nabbed during an entrapment operation last March 17.
Belated reports reaching PDEA showed that elements of PDEA Regional Office 11 and Toril Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation around 6:45 p.m. in the vicinity of Villa Josefina Village, along McArthur Highway, Davao City against Dacar.
Dacar was arrested after selling a plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing approximately 10 grams to a poseur-buyer.
Authorities seized from Dacar two plastic sachets of shabu weighing approximately 45 grams and the buy-bust money used in the operation. The estimated value of the seized illegal drug is P450,000.
