2 cops axed over fistfight

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines  – Two police officers were sacked after they allegedly engaged in a fistfight over rumors that one of them has a gay lover in Paoay, Ilocos Norte over the weekend.

Police Officer 1 Louie Ventura was transferred to the Adams municipal police station while PO1 Fredimar Sacramento was sent to the Carasi town police, Senior Superintendent Sterling Blanco, provincial police director, said.

Sacramento reportedly confronted Ventura for spreading gossip that he has a gay lover.
