KORONADAL CITY, Philippines – A 40-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing his daughter for the past five years in Malungon town, Sarangani.
The suspect, identified only as Rolly, was collared Sunday at their home in Barangay Nagpan after his daughter filed a complaint against him, said Senior Police Officer 1 May Villa, chief of the town police’s women’s and children’s desk.
Villa said the complainant told investigators that the abuses started when she was eight years old.
She said the victim confided her ordeal to her teacher, who sought police help.
