ILOILO CITY, Philippines – Three teenagers were wounded in what appeared to be a quarrel among members of a fraternity group in Mandurriao district here Saturday night.
Cyril Igbante,18, was taken to the West Visayas Medical Center for treatment of gunshot wounds.
Two others – John Paul Remorin, 18, and a 15-year-old boy – were rushed to the Iloilo Doctor’s Hospital for treatment of stab and gunshot wounds, respectively.
Investigation showed Igbante’s group clashed with Remorin’s and the minor’s companions in Barangay San Rafel at around 11:30 p.m., said Chief Inspector Leah Rose Peña, Mandurriao police station chief.
The warring groups reportedly hurled bottles at each other until gunshots were heard.
