BACOLOD CITY, Philippines – At least 300 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P400,000 was seized by authorities in a raid in Bago City, Negros Occidental last Wednesday.
The raid in Barangay Pacol also resulted in the arrest of suspected drug pushers identified as Naga Comagul, 37, and Jamal Esmael, 21, both of Balo, Lanao del Norte, while their companion, Rodney Canoy escaped, said Bago City police chief Superintendent Arnel Arpon.
Police said Esmael yielded a plastic sachet said to contain shabu and P700 marked money.
Seized from Comagul were two large plastic sachets allegedly containing the illegal substance.
Arpon said the suspects, who were temporarily staying in Barangay Tangub in this city, have been under surveillance for two months.
The suspects were detained at the Bago police station.
