Quake rocks parts of Luzon

MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude-4.1 earthquake rocked parts of the Northern and Central Luzon yesterday but no damage or injury was reported, state seismologists said.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake’s epicenter was located 13 kilometers southeast of Baguio City.

The quake, which occurred at 7:14 a.m., was felt at Intensity 4 in Baguio City and La Trinidad in Benguet; Intensity 3 in Itogon, also in Benguet; Intensity 2 in Dagupan City, Pangasinan and Intensity 1 in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija. – Helen Flores, Artemio Dumlao
