Australian, pal held for drugs

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines  – An Australian and his companion were arrested by police officers and agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in a sting in Dinalupihan, Bataan, last Monday, police reported yesterday.

Andrew Simonsen, 35, and Christian Tenorio, 35,were collared after the latter allegedly handed over a sachet of shabu to an undercover agent, said Senior Superintendent Rhodel Sermonia, Bataan police director.

The suspects reportedly yielded four more plastic sachets said to contain the illegal substance, with P500 marked money recovered from Simonsen.
