SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Philippines – Five areas in Zambales, including its capital Iba, will experience power outage lasting 10 hours tomorrow.
Lorenz Ernest Vidal, spokesman for the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines, said that apart from Iba, the towns of Palauig, Masinloc, Candelaria and Sta. Cruz would have no power from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Vidal said the outage would pave the way for the maintenance of a power transformer at the Botolan Substation and repair of transmission lines along the Botolan-Candelaria 69-kiloVolt line.
Normal operations will resume after repairs are completed.
