2-day holiday declared in Isabela

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – To enable his constituents to celebrate the 2015 Bambanti (scarecrow) Festival, Isabela Gov. Faustino Dy III has declared today and tomorrow as special non-working holidays in the province.
Dy said the Bambanti Festival, which started in 2000, is a tourism, cultural and heritage event promoting the province as the country’s top corn producer and ecotourism destination.
An Agro-Industrial and Tourism fair is being held at the capitol grounds in Ilagan City.
