Globe conducts Albay relief operations

Globe’s South Luzon regional sales chief Chris Hallare distri-butes relief goods to landslide victims in Albay early this month.

MANILA, Philippines - Globe Telecom distributed relief goods and provided Libreng Tawag services to residents of Manito town in Albay, which was hit by a landslide during the onslaught of Tropical Storm Amang.

Relief packages composed of uncooked rice, noodles, canned goods, biscuits, and coffee were distributed to 100 families in Sitio Inang Maharang.

Earlier, the telecommunications firm set up a free cell phone charging station at the Globe Catarman store in Samar to help residents affected by Amang.
