Dutch man found dead in Pampanga hotel

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines  – A Dutch man was found dead at Hans Swiss Chalet in Barangay Balibago in Angeles City on Tuesday.

 Senior Superintendent Eden Ugale, Angeles City police director, identified the victim as Cornelis Boer, 67, a resident of Barangay San Roque in Castillejos, Zambales.

Ugale said the victim booked Room 19 of the hotel with a female companion identified as Leonora Boroel, 44, a resident of Barangay Malabanias, Angeles City.

Boroel told police that she asked for assistance from the hotel staff because she could not wake up the victim, who was loudly snoring.

Boer’s friend, a certain Blackland, who was contacted by the hotel staff, found the Dutch man dead.
