MANILA, Philippines - A 43-year-old woman was injured after unidentified men lobbed a grenade near her house in North Cotabato Tuesday night.
Melanie Marcelino was hit with grenade fragments during the blast near her house on Purok 7, Barangay Poblacion, Carmen, North Cotabato.
She was immediately brought to the Kabacan Medical Specialist Hospital.
Initial reports said that two men were seen leaving the area on a motorbike toward Kabacan town after the blast at around 7:30 p.m.
Police investigators are still looking into the incident.
