MANILA, Philippines - An explosion rocked a barangay hall in Capiz around noon Monday, leaving one person dead and 10 others wounded.
Initial reports said that the suspect, carrying a hand grenade, went inside the barangay hall of Lantangan in Pontevedra town, Capiz around noon.
The grenade suddenly exploded, instantly killing the unidentified suspect.
At least 10 students were hurt during the blast.
Police are still determining whether the explosion was just an accident or intentional.
