4 cops nabbed in Cavite drug raid

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – Four policemen were arrested in a drug raid in Barangay Habay 2, Bacoor City, Cavite yesterday.

Chief Superintendent Jesus Gatchalian, Calabarzon police director, ordered the relief of Police Officers 3 Paul Barriosa Santoeli and Jay Salondro Ilagan and Police Officers 1 Roger Uy Reble and Joey Guiruela Pulusan of the Bacoor police.

Gatchalian said the policemen, who were detained at the Cavite police office, also face charges for possession of illegal drugs.

Nine plastic sachets containing shabu, three 9mm Glock pistols and an M-16 rifle were seized from the policemen.
