TODA president shot dead in Manila

MANILA, Philippines - Unidentified gunmen shot and killed a transport leader in Tondo, Manila, early Tuesday.

Police identified the slain victim as Eugene Gose, president of the Parola Compound Tricycle Drivers Association.

Investigaors said Gose was ambushed while driving his tricycle near the Gate 1 of Parola Compound. Gose died from several gunshot wounds.

Police said that Gose's killing could be related to a fight that he got into during a Christmas party last month.
