CABANATUAN CITY, Philippines – An American died while his wife was injured in a motorcycle accident in Gen. Natividad, Nueva Ecija over the weekend, police said yesterday.
The motorcycle that Michael Patrick Krakie, 69, and his wife, Zenaida, were riding turned over when they tried to avoid a stray dog in Barangay Balangkare at 10:30 a.m., said Senior Superintendent Crizaldo Nieves, provincial police director.
Krakie was pinned under the motorcycle while his wife was thrown a few meters away.
The American was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital.
