Cops recapture 9 of 16 QC escaped inmates

MANILA, Philippines - Police have re-arrested nine of the 16 inmates who escaped the detention cell in Cubao, Quezon City New Year's Eve.

 

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said that tracker teams have already accounted for inmates Robert Lacaba, Benedict Guinto, Rigor Alenjandrino, Thomas Evan Labutong, John Patrick Dionido, Emerson Castro, Miguel Glino, Dennis Natividad, and Roberto Valdez.

 

Police are still tracking down seven more inmates.

 

The inmates escaped from the Police Station 7 (PS-7)  in Cubao,Quezon City in the early morning of Dec. 31, 2014.

 

QCPD director Joel Pagdilao has already relieved PS-7 commander Police Superintendent Wilson Delos Santos for the incident.
