Bomb blast hits Zambo massage parlor; 3 suspects nabbed
ZAMBOANGA CITY , Philippines – An improvised bomb ripped through a massage parlor and a videoke bar in this city Monday night.
Two women suffered bruises and three suspects identified by a witness were arrested in a follow-up operation, police said.
The explosion occurred at around 8:40 p.m. at the Princese Massage and Videoke Bar along Tomas Claudio street, near the police office in the downtown area, according to Superintendent Ariel Huesca, spokesperson for the city police office.
Investigators said the bomb was placed on the stairs leading to the second floor of the massage parlor.
The suspects were identified as Jumdan Dasan of Indanan, Sulu; Marsel Jumadil; and Arsharif Abdani, a resident of Tandubas, Tawi-Tawi.
