2 wounded in Batangas shooting

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – Two persons were wounded in a shooting in Barangay Poblacion 3 in Laurel, Batangas on Wednesday, a police official said yesterday.

Senior Inspector Simeon Aldovino, town police chief, said Marvin Siscar, 37, was about to board his motorcycle with his 18-year-old son when two motorcycle-riding men shot at them.

Siscar’s son was unhurt but vendor Herry Maligaya, 18, was hit by stray bullets.

Aldovino said the Siscars may have been attacked due to a personal grudge.
