Rains drench Metro Manila, 7 provinces

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — The state weather agency issued heavy or "yellow" rainfall warnings on Wednesday as the tail-end of a cold front continues to affect the country.

Metro Manila and the provinces of Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Quezon, Bulacan and Bataan were forecast to experience heavy rains around noontime, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in 12 p.m. advisory.

The agency, however, terminated the warning around 3 p.m. as rains became light to moderate.
