Soldier wounded in Iloilo bomb blast

MANILA, Philippines - A soldier was wounded when suspected New People’s Army rebels set off an improvised explosive device in Tubungan, Iloilo on Tuesday.
Pfc. Ronald Minguillo of the 31st Division Reconnaissance Company, suffered a shrapnel wound in the wrist.
Minguillo and several other soldiers were on two military trucks in Barangay Sibukawan when the bomb went off at around 11:15 p.m.
A gunshot was also heard after the explosion.
